Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to شريك المحطة (Sharik Al-Mahatta — the driver application, package com.mhtta.driver) and to the Mahatta customer application (collectively, the "Service"), both operated and published by Mahatta — المحطة غماس. It describes the information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information you provide: name, phone number, and password; and email address for customer accounts.
• Location data, with your permission, used to show nearby services and orders and to improve your experience. We do not collect location in the background. You can revoke this permission in your device settings at any time.
• Camera and photo library, with your permission, used only to upload images you choose. We do not access photos in the background.
• Push notification tokens issued by Firebase Cloud Messaging. Each device receives a unique token that we store to deliver notifications. The token contains no personal information by itself.
• Device and usage information collected automatically: device model, operating system version, app version, language, IP address, and crash logs. This helps us diagnose problems and improve performance.

2. How We Use the Information

We use the information to provide and maintain the Service, deliver notifications you have opted into, personalize content, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, and respond to your support requests.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with: service providers (such as Firebase) acting on our behalf under written contracts; authorities, when required by valid legal process; or a successor entity in the event of a merger or acquisition.

4. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can request deletion at any time (see Account Deletion).

5. Account Deletion

Customers can delete their account and associated data from within the app. Driver accounts are managed by the Mahatta team; to delete a driver account, email delete@mhtta.com from your registered email address. We complete the deletion within 30 days, and backups are purged within 90 days.

6. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including HTTPS in transit and encryption at rest. No method of transmission over the internet is 100 percent secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@mhtta.com.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
